When I was in college, I served on the Reed College Student Senate (nerd alert!) with my friend and colleague Marie Perez.
In the summer of 2022, she sent me a text asking if I could help out with her Twitter because she was running for US Congress.
So I said yes, helped her find her voice, grow her supporters, and pull off the most surprising congressional upset of the year!
